The AutoCAD Evening Introduction is for anyone looking to get an introductory taste for AutoCAD and practical hands-on experience in a relaxed environment, over a four week period.
What you will learn
Over four weeks you’ll learn the AutoCAD basics before moving onto more in-depth lessons which will bring you to grips with the ins and outs of the software. If you prefer, we can tailor your AutoCAD learning experience to your needs and desired outcomes.

This course is ideal for beginners or those looking to build on their existing skills and no experience is necessary. Whether you're looking to further your career, use AutoCAD in your existing role, or are looking for a new and exciting creative avenue, this course is for you.
The Introduction AutoCAD Course is intended for those who want to produce
2D plans using the AutoCAD. This practical, hands-on course covers the essentials of AutoCAD 2D. You will learn how to navigate the user interface, setting up and file management. An introduction to drawing, editing, drawing aids, layers, text and dimensioning.You will also work through drawing exercises and plotting. By the end of the course you will be able to create your own simple drawings, whether it be for architectural, interior, engineering, or product design.
Your tutors Stefano and Ben are industry professionals, with extensive experience using AutoCAD for interior, furniture, landscape and product design. They have a passion for passing on these skills to anyone willing to learn and always ensure classes take place within a supportive learning environment.
You will receive a package of 10 - 15 bespoke video tutorials that are recorded on the course. This means that you can watch back the entire training days in your own time after the course.
The course has a maximum class size of 6.
The AutoCAD Evening Introduction class is every Monday evening for 4 weeks.

Stefano and Ben take great pleasure in passing on their expertise in AutoCAD to groups and individuals looking to use the programme confidently within their own business or place of work. They both work as Interior, Furniture and Landscape Designers, therefore delivering the training within industry standard guidelines.

Founder and Director
Ben Taylor is the founder and director of Taylor Hawkes Design Studio, London Fields Design School, and London Software Training.
He has over 10 years experience running design courses in universities and colleges across London.
His passion is helping people reach their creative career goals.
Liam
Teaching Spatial Design, Vectorworks, SketchUp, and Revit at London Software Training.
After studying Environmental Science at Queen Mary’s, Liam pursued a creative career and understood that he did not need a university degree to pivot into design. He directed his practice toward architecture and 3D programs. He has consulted with numerous design studios across
London and the UK. A lot of his practice involves designing music festivals.
Luisa
Teaching 3D Design, 3D Printing and Rhino at London Software Training. Luisa has a background in Architecture. Her practice focuses on exploring and implementing the sustainability and fabrication advantages of 3D Printing, looking at how 3D printing can help lower our carbon footprint - from collecting micro plastics in the sea and reducing consumer consumption.
Fady
Teaching Spatial Design, AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp at London Software Training.
Fady runs a small architectural and interior practice as well as being a visiting architectural lecturer at Cairo University. Additionally, he is an Architectural Engineering academic completing his PhD at UCL, busy man!
Dani
Teaching Illustration, Motion Graphics, Illustrator and AfterEffects at London Software Training.
Dani is a freelance motion designer with a large client base and a dedicated tutor here at LST.
His passion is passing on his expert knowledge and supporting students into becoming well-rounded designers.
Matt
Teaching Product Design, Furniture Design, 3D Printing and Rhino at London Software Training.
Matt is the founder of a product and furniture design Studio. Combining art and engineering to create playful moving furniture. Taking everyday objects and adding a greater dimension to them.
Emanuel
Teaching Illustration, Graphic Design, Photoshop and InDesign at London Software Training.
Emanuel is a freelance graphic and illustration designer, working with a variety of clients such as The Sunday Times, Harper Collins, and the Financial Times. He is also the LFDS lead graphic and illustration lecturer.
Amr
Teaching Spatial Design, AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp at London Software Training.
Amr is an architect and researcher, having won a number of international design competitions. Participating in academic teaching for 7 years, as well as undertaking PhD research related to building energy performance.
Harvey
Teaching 3D Printing at London Software Training.
Harvey first got into 3D printing more than ten years ago - he's captivated by the technical and creative side of this exciting technology. With 3D printing, people can produce parts they cannot make in any other way. Its versatility enables designers to use a wide variety of materials, making it one of the most sustainable practices in design.
