Student Spotlight: Ally Bellamy

After enrolling on the Designer Development Course at our sister company, London Fields Design School, Ally developed an interest in additive manufacturing technology and was able to take her ideas even further.

Ally chats about her current project, where she is developing a product based on the capabilities of design software:

"It isn't something that can be replicated or made without the software, which gave me the opportunity to play with form in new ways that I wouldn't have been able to do before. I have always liked creating things, but I never thought I was able to do it with such digital methods. I like the idea of using sustainable materials, evolving around the circular design process. This isn't the forefront of the idea, but I definitely take it into consideration."

We can't wait to see Ally's final designs come to life and always enjoy seeing her progress in our studio.
