Morgan Ager is a UX/UI designer with a background in web content and marketing. Now based in the UK, Morgan has combined strategic thinking with a strong eye for design, crafting clean, functional user experiences for digital products. Since completing the Graphic Designer Development Course at our sister company, London Fields Design School, he has taken on freelance graphic design projects and successfully transitioned into UX/UI design. Last year, he landed an exciting role at a Fintech app.

We asked Morgan how LFDS helped support this shift:

"My background is in web content and marketing but after working for a motorcycle gear e-commerce business for a few years I found myself craving a more creative role. After leaving I took my time to think about my next move and the new plan fell into place once I found LFDS online.
London Fields Design School gave me the opportunity to explore the world of design and learn the practical skills for the latest industry standard software— for me this has been focusing on the Adobe suite as a platform. The strongest elements of LFDS have to be the flexibility to enable me to work part-time, the community of creatives that you mix with, and the constant motivation from Ben.
LFDS gave me a taste of various disciplines in the broader design industry which helped me narrow down to the specific areas I want to focus on. I started with some freelance graphic design projects before transitioning to UX/UI Design. In 2024 I managed to land a role at a Fintech app – I am loving it! It also gave me the foundation and belief to find a job that I enjoy more day to day and opened up opportunities for me in fast-growing design industries."

We're thrilled to have been part of Morgan’s creative journey.
